Lesson Program Descriptions
Six-Week Intro Course ![]() This 6-week introductory course of 30-minute lessons, is for students of ANY AGE (recommended for students with less than 1 year of experience on their instrument) who would like a chance to explore making music at SoundWorks! No prior experience is necessary, and students will be provided with a rental instrument for a nominal fee if need be. The goals of this program are:

The program for the fastest and most thorough musical growth is our weekly/bi-weekly lesson offering. In this program, you have a choice of 30, 45 or 60 minute lessons at the studio or in your own home. Your instructor will create a completely customized curriculum, focused on your musical interests and goals. The goals of this program are:

Additional Programs
A LA CARTE LESSONS
Interested in a one-on-one workshop lesson? We offer "A la Carte" lessons on any of our available instruments from 30min to 3 hours. If you are an advanced player looking to bounce some ideas off one of our professional, world class instructors, OR, if you simply need to learn how to play "Sweet Home Alabama" in time for your cousin's wedding, this could be for you! The time is yours to address whatever topics you would like!
STUDENT TO STUDENT LESSONS
The student to student program at SoundWorks pairs our top students (that have shown a strong interest in teaching) with beginner students. Our student to student teachers receive training from our instructors on how to be an effective teacher, communicator, and mentor to beginning students. Beginner students taking lessons through a student to student teacher receive a 10% monthly discount.
MUSIC CAMPS/WORKSHOPS
Round up 5-10 friends and the staff at SoundWorks will custom craft a music camp/workshop on virtually any musically related topic. Our staff has experience giving workshops all over the world- from the University of Guatemala to Toronto, Canada. Past topics have included African Ethnic Percussion, Rock Band 101, Jazz Evolution and History, and Rock Mamas/Papas.
