Studios hand drum program is centered around learning rhythm in a fun and creative environment! Private Lessons Students taking private lessons learn about the application of traditional West African culture to Western music, while building confidence and skill with hand drums, African stick drums, bells, and rattles. Group Ensembles The Saturday morning ensemble program is intended to provide a fun and inviting atmosphere for new students to come play. It will also be a space for students taking private lessons to build confidence playing with a group, meet other students, and develop cultural awareness. We are currently offering one Saturday ensemble from 12:00-1:00 PM. COMING SOON: Beginner and Advanced level ensembles will be available, and participants in the advanced level will have multiple opportunities for public performances at local events!
